I wanted to make an organic blankie. I found this cute vintage GOTS certified fabric (retro fox) and GOTS certified Fair cotton from katia yarns, they have lot of colors to choose from!
You will need:
· 1 square of 8.5 in (22 cm) For the outside fabric
· 1 square of 8.5 in (22 cm) for the inside fabric
· Cotton for crochet n°3 ( US: D – GB: 11)
· Crochet 2,5 (US: C – GB: 12) if you crochet a bit loose, choose a smaller crochet (2mm instead of 2.5 for example).
· Embroidery thread for the eyes and mouth (I used fil mouliné DMC)
· Thread for sewing
· Needles

* Put the squares of fabric right sides together
* sew at ¼ of inch from the border. Leave an opening of about 3 in to turn the fabric inside out.
* Cut off the corners and put your fabric inside out.
* Sew the head of the bunny on the fabric: in order to hide the knots when you begin sewing, start with your needle between the two layers of fabric, pull the thread. Sew tightly and bind off.
*sew the opening you had left to turn the square inside out.
Voilà ! your bunny blakie is finished!
